Where does the time go!
I am having a hard time finding time to do the simplest things. If it is keeping the house in order, going to the store, school work, whatever. I don't seem to have the time anymore. And, it doesn't seem to get any better. I am feeling overwhelmed and busier each new day.
Can someone give me some wise or useful hints to make life go smoother?
Thank you for letting me get this off my chest. I just had to vent.

here is my best advice. hire a maid and eat out every meal. you will be happier and your family will love you even more than they do now, if that's even possible.

I feel for you. EVERYTHING you said is how I feel.
Sometimes life just sucks.
What I found when I had children at home was to set priorities.
1 - time with God
2 - time with family
3 - time with friends
4 - list the jobs that need to be done and put them in order of importance. Learn to let things go - our moms weren't pulled in so many different ways. And when your kids leave for college you won't worry about missing dusting every week, but you will be thankful for all of the times you were able to spend quality time with your family. Everything else pales in comparison.
Just do what I do....don't clean the house. That's what the husband and kids are for, aren't they? LOL
I own my own business too and I had to really learn to just let the crap go...and I mean GOOOOO. If I have a choice between watching a movie with the kids or cleaning the family room, well sitting with the kids wins every time and if people come over univited then they get what they get for not calling ahead. I have lost all shame. Of course if I know someone is coming I will clean, but I try to keep people away with threats of violence.
